At the beginning of the month, I had the pleasure of working with Rick and Jessica for their April 5, 2014 wedding. The ceremony took place at Woodland Park United Methodist Church in McDonald, Ohio. Pastor Carla Davies made us all feel so welcome and she was so funny! Photos were taken in between the ceremony and reception at the Youngstown Country Club in Liberty, Ohio. Guests headed to The Mahoning Country Club in Girard, Ohio for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Below are photos of the day courtesy of Photography by Dave and Chrissy, another sweet couple I got to spend time with on this day. I also included a few photos I snapped of the gift table after I had set it up that morning. I hope you enjoy!
Jessica and her bridesmaids were a blast to be around. Here they are striking a pose at Casal’s in Boardman, Ohio after getting their hair and makeup done.
These girls must have secret lives as models. I still can’t get over how they would go from laughing and carrying on to this…in an instant when Chrissy would cue them!
The fun didn’t stop with Jessica and her bridesmaids–Her mom and grandma were just as lovely!
We can’t forget about Rick and Jessica’s son, Greyson. He was so well-behaved and was dancing all night long!
This is another one of my favorites from the day. Rick and Jessica look SO happy!
The Youngstown Country Club was full of great photo opportunities for the happy couple, but this is one of my favorites.
DJ Ike of Ike 4 Life Productions did a wonderful job for cocktail hour and the reception!
The Bride and Groom gave out these adorable drink koozies to their guests. Their guest book was also beach themed and matched the burlap runner at the head table.
Their yellow and blue wedding colors were carried through to the tablescape, as well the beach theme. The bride handmade the votive candle holders and we assembled the centerpieces made up of sand, seashells and white hydrangeas. The bride also made a wedding mad lib sheet for some extra fun for the guests.
Jessica Dmyterko did a wonderful job on the cake and display table. She wrote the bride and groom’s initials in the “sand” (brown sugar) and the cupcakes were decorated beautifully.
The gift table was decorated with a fishing net and an assortment of shells and sea creatures.
Here is a close-up of the beautiful wedding card box Jessica’s sister, Erinn, made. Didn’t she do an amazing job?!
Here is just one more shot of the wedding gift table, including another amazing find by the bride.
And finally, a photo of the beautiful bride and me.
Congratulations again Rick and Jessica! Thank you for trusting me and the other wonderful wedding vendors with your special day!
